I knew Tony when we were both teenagers. We were at Rossall together, shared a study for much of that time and were close friends. We visited each others houses and partied together. We went to the British Grand Prix. I well remember Tony's Mini Cooper with its big lorry spotlights being driven a little to fast. Sadly our worlds drifted apart. I last saw him at a Rossall reunion about twenty years ago. I tried to get in touch several times in recent years. He was a good friend. Sadly we will not meet again. Brian Chippendale
